How to go to Heathrow from Liverpool Street using London Underground tubes / trains
Option 1 [ Liverpool Street to Heathrow via King's Cross St. Pancras ]
1. Go to London's Liverpool underground/tube station.
2. Take any tube going westbound and get off at King's Cross.
3. From King's cross st Pancras, walk to the westbound Piccadilly line (navy blue) platform and take any tube going westbound.
4. If you want to go to Heathrow terminal 4 and the tube is going to Heathrow terminals 1,2,3,4 then take it. But if the tube is going to Heathrow terminals 1,2,3,5, then get off at Hounslow West or Hatton Cross and wait for the tube to Heathrow terminals 1,2,3,4.
5. Do vice versa of the above step, if you want to go to Heathrow 5 and the tube is for Heathrow terminals 1,2,3,4
6. Now if the tube is not going to Heathrow at all, but somewhere else (say, Uxbridge - see above route diagram), then take that tube and change at Acton Town (see above figure) and follow steps 4 or 5.
Option 2 [ Liverpool Street to Heathrow via Holborn ]
1. Go to Liverpool underground/tube station.
2. Walk to central Line (Red) westbound platform and take the tube going westbound to either Ealing Broadway or to West Ruislip and get off at Holborn.
3. From Holborn, walk to the westbound Piccadilly line (navy blue) platform and take any tube going to Heathrow terminals 1,2,3,4 or Heathrow terminals 1,2,3,5 or Uxbridge or Rayner's Lane or any other westbound station.
4. If you want to go to Heathrow terminal 4 and the tube is going to Heathrow terminals 1,2,3,4 then take it. But if the tube is going to Heathrow terminals 1,2,3,5, then get off at Hounslow West or Hatton Cross and wait for the tube to Heathrow terminals 1,2,3,4.
5. Do vice versa of the above step, if you want to go to Heathrow 5 and the tube is for Heathrow terminals 1,2,3,4
6. Now if the tube is not going to Heathrow at all, but somewhere else (say, Uxbridge - see above route diagram), then take that tube and change at Acton Town (see above figure) and follow steps 4 or 5.
Option 3 [ Liverpool Street to Heathrow via Hammersmith ]
1. Go to Liverpool underground/tube station
2. Walk to circle (yello) or Hammersmith and City Line (pink) westbound platform and take the tube going westbound to Hammersmith.
3. From Hammersmith, walk to the westbound Piccadilly line (navy blue) platform and take any tube going to Heathrow terminals 1,2,3,4 or Heathrow terminals 1,2,3,5 or Uxbridge or Rayner's Lane or any other westbound station.
Note that after getting off at Hammersmith station, you will have to come out of the station and cross the road and then go to the Piccadilly branch at the Hammersmith station.
4. If you want to go to Heathrow terminal 4 and the tube is going to Heathrow terminals 1,2,3,4 then take it. But if the tube is going to Heathrow terminals 1,2,3,5, then get off at Hounslow West or Hatton Cross and wait for the tube to Heathrow terminals 1,2,3,4.
5. Do vice versa of the above step, if you want to go to Heathrow 5 and the tube is for Heathrow terminals 1,2,3,4
6. Now if the tube is not going to Heathrow at all, but somewhere else (say, Uxbridge - see above route diagram), then take that tube and change at Acton Town (see above figure) and follow steps 4 or 5.
