"Trocadero" in Leicester square is not exactly a gambling place. You could call it a place where you and your friends and family could go to play some indoor games.and have fun. There are loads of games to enjoy. There are many other places in London where you can find such games but the speciality of Trocadero is that it is one place where you can find all the games. It has 3 to 4 floors full of games. I have been there a couple of times and the games that I saw there are as follows : History Studios Old Time Portraits (Transform Minutes Into Centuries Of History), london souvenirs at Crest Of London, Trocadero escalators, sports bar, bowling, pick and win football using joyistick game, change machine, jack pot games, sega UFO catcher, funland (explore the ultimate experience), military camp game with big gun, dance on arrows game, climax racing, goal keeping game, shooring game with remote gun in hand, typhoon game, ice hockey game like carrom, Tuppenny nudger, spinna winna, stacker, pile up, slot games, casino fun, junior jockey, super sonic, sega car racing, cosmic crane, the king ( boxing game to test your power ), 2p coin games, 10p coin games, roll, sega truck racing, guitar hero, bunjy jumping, camel race game, pool, fortune wheel, fabulous prizes in exchange of tickets, dashing cars, cineworld cinema and more..
The best part is that you like the games more because, if you win there is a reward too. I am not sure but I think they used to give out coins as rewards in the coins game but may be recently they have started giving out tickets which after collected can be replaced with gift items. We won around 50 to 60 tickets. But I saw some teenagers who managed to accumulate buckets of tickets ! Well that reminds me of a funny incident. After we all were getting out of Trocadero Shruti found a strip of around 11th tickets and thought that the amount of tickets were.too low to be replaced with a gift hence she decided to go back and give it to a kid who wouldn't have won tickets. So she went back and saw this cute kid and gave the tickets to him. And the kid thanked her in a very cute way. After handing over the tickets to him she saw him putting the tickets in a basket full of tickets held by his dad. She was disappointed to hand over the tickets to some one who didn't really need them...lol.
You can win prizes starting from 30 tickets to around 50,000 tickets !! The prizes ranged from as simple as.a. small key chain to as cool as a play station. There were loads of 2p and 10p games but I am not a big fan of them. I used to like the game stacker or pile up where you have to pile up squares one on the top of other by stoping horizontally moving squares. But I gradually lost interest in that game as well because the maximum I could win in that was a minor prize. I think the game is programmed in such a way that you would very very rarely win a major prize. The other game that I liked the most was the camel.racing game. It can be played by 1 or more person(s), but not more than 7 I guess. If you are the only one playing the game, then the computer plays with you but its more fun when 2 two or more people play it. The chances of winning with the computer are also very low. There are seven seats in a row and you face a row of 7 camels in front of you . Between you and the camels is a board for each player which has a number of holes. These holes.are a little away from each player. When the game starts the camels are at the start position and aeach player gets a ball and needs to try to roll it into the hole which is farthest from him or her. If the ball rolls into a distant hole, his or her camel takes a big step forward and vice versa. If you miss the camel won't move. After every roll the ball comes back to you. The player whose camel reaches the finish line first wins and gets loads of tickets. The best way to win tickets is to play only with a friend of yours and no one else so either of you win ;) and share the prize.
There are some.places to eat as well. One of them is called sports bar. There is a place where you can bowl. See pictures to find out deals. As you enter the Trocadero building there is a place where you can dress up in an olden British dress and take pictures. The prizes start from 35 pounds I think. See pictures for more info.
